Porto Cervo

Although separated by a small creek the hotel and the

Tennis Club are only 100 metres apart and all the facilities

of each are available to you whichever you choose to

stay in. Prices are the same for both.

The capital of Costa Smeralda is Porto Cervo and it is here that they hold the famous Porto Cervo yacht regattas. It is in the centre of the Porto Cervo Marina that you will find the stunning village which was designed by Luigi Vietti. Porto Cervo is also known as Porto Nuovo by its inhabitants and means the new port.

The hotel, built around its swimming pool and gardens,

forms part of the village piazza of Porto Cervo. All the

108 rooms and suites are air-conditioned with bathroom

and balcony or terrace overlooking the gardens, the

piazza, the hotel's private creek or the sea. It has a

first class restaurant, a pool-side barbecue restaurant,

a piano bar, a terrace bar and night club (no noise

problem in the hotel as the club is under the hotel next

to the creek).

The Tennis Club has 16 very comfortable and spacious

bedrooms, air-conditioned with bathroom and terrace

overlooking the pool and the courts. There are five

floodlit tennis courts, which can be booked by the hour

at reasonable rates, a health and fitness centre,

a squash court, an open-air swimming pool and an

indoor heated pool. Although the hotel and Tennis Club

are both right on the sea, you cannot swim in Porto

Cervo because of the number of boats in the bay.

Guests are taken to the hotel's secluded beach in the

next bay by the hotel's shuttle boat.
